Julia Campbell is the Vice President of Public Affairs at the CAYL Institute. Her responsibilities include coordinating the CAYL Schott Fellowship Alumni Network, branding, media relations, marketing, fundraising, and grant-writing.

Julia holds a Masters in Public Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Management from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA and a B.S. in Journalism and Women’s Studies from Boston University. She served as a Community Health Educator in the United States Peace Corps from 2000-20002, educating rural villagers in Senegal, West Africa, about malnutrition, malaria prevention, and vaccinations. Before joining the CAYL Institute in June 2008, Julia worked as the Director of Development, Marketing and Community Relations at Transitions Family Violence Services, a program in Hampton, VA dedicated to breaking the cycle of domestic violence in families.
