Kitt Cox is the coordinator for the Birth to Three Family Center in Ipswich. He is in charge of coordinating family education and support programs at The Birth To Three Family Center. Kitt has a Bachelor’s of Arts from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He is a facilitator for both family & fathers' groups for Cape Ann Families, and is a song writer with original recordings including “We’re Just Big Kids”, “Songs for Dogtown Common” and “Fishsticks”.

Anna Carollo Cross is the Director of Family Support Programs for Framingham Public Schools. Anna earned both her Master’s and CAGS in Counseling Psychology and Student Personnel as well as her Bachelor’s from the University of Albany. She is on the Long Range Planning Committee for Framingham Public Schools and oversees several programs which focus on supporting children and families such as the Parent Information Center and the Framingham Community Partnership for Children.

Lei–Anne Ellis is Preschool, Afterschool and Family Support Division head for the City of Cambridge, Department of Human Service Programs. SHe also oversees the Center for Families, Cambridge's MFN program. Lei-Anne has a Masters of Family, Culture and Society from Wheelock College and a Bachelor’s from Cornell University. In 2004, she was named a Literacy Champion by the Massachusetts Literacy Foundation based on her work developming the award winning “Let’s Talk….it makes a difference!” oral language development campaign.

Mei-Hua Fu is the Child Servies Manager at Action for Boston Community Development Chinese Church Head Start. She is also a part-time faculty member at Cambridge College and Urbam College of Boston. She is also a consultant with CDA courses for ABCD and is on the Massachusetts Early Education and Care and Out-of-School Time Work Force Development Task Force. Mei-Hua has a Master’s of Bilingual Early Childhood Education from Lesley University. She also earned both her Masters in Education and Bachelor’s from National Taiwan Normal University, Taipei, Taiwan.

Kathryn Jones is a Program Director at the Action for Boston Community Development Inc. Early Head Start Program in Dorchester. She manages the overall operation of the Early Head Start program which serves 100 low-income pregnant women, infants, toddlers and their families. Kathryn has a Masters of Early Intervention from Wheelock College and a Bachelor from University of Massachusetts. She is currently persuing her doctoate at the University of Massachusetts.

Joan Matsalia is employed at Harvard University as the Assistant Director of the Harvard Achievement Support Initiative (HASI), a project out of the Office of Government and Community Affairs. The HASI team works with after school programs, and early education and care programs in Boston. HASI is an early partner in bringing Families and Work Institutes Mind in the Making to Massachusetts. In addition, the team provides funding to a variety of Boston programs in Allston-Brighton, Mission Hill and the Fenway that are working to improve opportunities for urban youth through the arts, sports and other enrichment programming.

Carol Nolan is the Director of the Children’s Services, CAAS Head Start, which serves Somerville and Cambridge.She oversees, coordinates and implements the Education and Disabilities performance standards of the Head Start program. She has also been an adjunct facuilty member at Bunker Hill Community COlege and Wheelock College. Carol is a member of the Somerville Community Partnership for Children, a member of Somerville Early Childhood Advisory Council and a Council Member for Foster Grandparent Advisory Council.

Barbara Prindle-Eaton is the Deputy Executive Director for the Cape Cod Development Program, Inc and Director of the Cape & Island Early Childhood Intervention Program. She supports agency-wide activities including collaboration with community agencies. Barbara earned her Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy from Boston University and has completed graduate course work with the PMBI Program at Lesley College. She is an elected member of the Town of Harwich School Committee.

Hilda Ramirez is the Executive Director of the Worcester Youth Center. Hilda has a Master’s of Education from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science from Lesley University. She is a board member of the Latino Professional Network and The Bancroft School, Cultural Perspective Board.

Kate Roper Massachusetts Early Childhood Comprehensive Systems Project (MECCS) Director for the Department of Public Health. She is also involved in the Massachusetts Early Education and Care and Out of School Time Workforce Development Task Force, tthe Special Commission on After School and Out of School Time, and United Way's Healthy Child Development Impact Council. Kate earned her Masters in Education from Harvard and her bachelors in Psychology/ Elementary Education from Vassar College.

Joanne Szamreta is a professor at Lesley University. She develops programs and courses in early childhood education. Joanne has a PhD in Educational and Developmental Psychology from Boston College, a Masters in Education from Erikson Institute for the Study of Child Development and a Bachelor’s degree from Smith College. She is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the Boston Association of Education of Young Children and the North American Reggio Emilia Alliance.

Diana Watson is the Director of Child Development Services at Bradshaw Children's Learning Program at ABCD Head Start. Diana has earned both her Master's of Education and Bachelor's from Wheelock College. She has participated in the MA Child Care Voucher study and the neighborhood outreach activities representing program and community cluster. She was a Wheelock College Alumni Speaker.
